Greetings, my name is Ryan Dycus.

I am a Postdoctoral Associate in the Cornell Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy and a member of Cornell Research on Tobacco Regulation, where I work with Donald Kenkel and Alan Mathios. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University in 2026. [CV]

I am an empirical health economist focused on the markets for nicotine and tobacco products. My research uses experimental, quasi-experimental, and survey methods to understand the determinants of nicotine-product demand, analyze the effects of existing tobacco-control policies, and forecast the impacts of policies under consideration.
